Growing up I was always curious about how things worked and loved to take apart and put them back together. I learned that if I can understand it, I can fix. In high school this curiosity grew into a strong interest in physiology. When it was time to choose a career I chose dentistry. I understood that if I could understand the way it works. I can also fix it.
I went on to obtain an undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in Vertebrae Physiology. I was then accepted into the highly competitive dental program at the Kornberg School of Dentistry. During my training at Temple, I have gained extensive experience treating all phases of dentistry from infant care to medically compromised geriatrics patients. While treating the underserved population of North Philadelphia, I have worked alongside the nationally acclaimed faculty of Temple University. I have experience in treating a wide array of dental pathologies resulting from neglect, substance abuse, and trauma from automobile accidents. After graduating Temple University I then began treating patients as an associate dentist. While working as an associate dentist I furthered my training to be certified to place surgical implants. I have had the advanced training in augmenting (regrowing) bone to create adequate bone for eventual implant placement. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Philadelphia Dental Society and Spear Education Club and have taken hundreds of hours of CE courses to provide my patients with the most advanced and up-to-date care. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, snowboarding and cooking.Gregory Drew
